Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid state SLP license or eligibility
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates welcome
- School-based experience is preferred
- Knowledge of best practices in pediatric speech and language therapy
- Ability to collaborate with educational staff, families, and other professionals
- Strong documentation and communication abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and provide direct/indirect therapy to K-12 students with varying speech, language, and communication needs
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals for students
- Monitor and document student progress and adjust interventions as necessary
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to create supportive learning environments
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team planning
