Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Active Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with SLP endorsement
  • CCC-SLP certification preferred, but strong Clinical Fellows may be considered
  • Experience or strong interest in school-based SLP practice, including working with diverse student populations
  • Reliability, strong organization, and effective communication skills

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for students in PreK-12 settings
  • Develop and implement IEPs tailored to individual student needs in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team
  • Provide direct and consultative therapy services to students, both one-to-one and in small groups
  • Maintain clear documentation of progress, compliance, and parent communication as required by school policies and state guidelines
  • Participate in staff meetings, parent conferences, and professional development as needed
