Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with SLP endorsement
- CCC-SLP certification preferred, but strong Clinical Fellows may be considered
- Experience or strong interest in school-based SLP practice, including working with diverse student populations
- Reliability, strong organization, and effective communication skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for students in PreK-12 settings
- Develop and implement IEPs tailored to individual student needs in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team
- Provide direct and consultative therapy services to students, both one-to-one and in small groups
- Maintain clear documentation of progress, compliance, and parent communication as required by school policies and state guidelines
- Participate in staff meetings, parent conferences, and professional development as needed
