Qualifications and Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current or eligible State Speech-Language Pathology license
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; Clinical Fellowship Year candidates also welcome
  • Experience with school-aged children and familiarity with IEPs
  • Knowledge of pediatric disorders, assessment, and intervention techniques
  • Strong documentation, organization, and interpersonal skills
  • Positive attitude and flexibility in adapting to changing needs

Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in students
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Work closely with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support student progress
  • Maintain thorough records and assist in IEP development and meetings
  • Deliver therapy individually and in groups to optimize student outcomes
  • Provide guidance on communication strategies within the school community
  • Ensure compliance with all federal and state requirements for school-based therapy
