Pediatric School Speech Therapist | Ravenna, Ohio

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
• Current state license (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; Clinical Fellows (CFY) encouraged to apply
• Experience working with pediatric and/or school-aged populations
• Familiarity with IEP development, progress monitoring, and therapy documentation
• Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills

Responsibilities:

• Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for students
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in alignment with students’ IEP goals
• Provide direct therapy services to children with a range of communication needs
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multi-disciplinary teams to support students’ educational and social-emotional development
• Maintain accurate and timely records, including progress notes and reports
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute as a subject-matter expert
