This opening welcomes both licensed Speech-Language Pathologists (SLP) and Speech-Language Pathologist Assistants (SLPA), including those with Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status. The ideal fit is enthusiastic about school-based services and eager to help students achieve their communication goals.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Valid state licensure or eligibility as an SLP, SLP-CFY, or SLPA
- Experience in pediatric, school, or healthcare settings
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities
- Comfort with IEP processes, case management, and therapy documentation
- Experience delivering services onsite to school-age children
- Familiarity with teletherapy is a plus, though onsite services are primary
- Passion for supporting diverse learners in an educational setting
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy services to middle school and upper elementary caseload
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans and progress
- Collaborate with educators, support staff, and families to optimize student outcomes
- Assess, screen, and evaluate students’ communication abilities
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress records in compliance with school and state guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and professional development as needed
