Qualifications and Preferred Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure as an SLP
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Previous experience working in schools or with pediatric populations strongly desired
- Expertise in assessment, diagnosis, and intervention strategies within a school environment
- Strong collaboration and communication skills with staff, students, and families
- Ability to create and implement effective Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to diagnose communication disorders among students
- Develop and deliver individualized therapy sessions targeting receptive, expressive, fluency, articulation, and pragmatic language concerns
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in accordance with school and state requirements
- Consult with educators, families, and other school professionals to support student progress
- Participate in IEP meetings, share findings, and help design effective goals and supports
- Provide support, guidance, and resources to teachers and parents to aid in students’ speech and language development
