Step into a rewarding role supporting students’ communication needs for the 2021-22 school year as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) on a contract basis. Ideal candidates bring experience in school-based speech therapy and hold the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) as well as a passion for helping children in educational settings.

Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Valid state SLP license
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
  • Previous experience working with pediatric or school populations
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to adapt therapy approaches to meet the needs of diverse learners

Core Responsibilities:

  • Provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of speech, language, voice, fluency, and communication disorders
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s goals
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and other professionals to support students’ communicative growth
  • Maintain clear, timely documentation in accordance with school and legal requirements
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to multidisciplinary teams
  • Serve as an advocate for students with speech and language needs within the school community
