Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Reading, PA

Qualifications and Preferred Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Valid state licensure as an SLP
• Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
• Previous experience working in schools or with pediatric populations strongly desired
• Expertise in assessment, diagnosis, and intervention strategies within a school environment
• Strong collaboration and communication skills with staff, students, and families
• Ability to create and implement effective Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments and evaluations to diagnose communication disorders among students
• Develop and deliver individualized therapy sessions targeting receptive, expressive, fluency, articulation, and pragmatic language concerns
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in accordance with school and state requirements
• Consult with educators, families, and other school professionals to support student progress
• Participate in IEP meetings, share findings, and help design effective goals and supports
• Provide support, guidance, and resources to teachers and parents to aid in students’ speech and language development
