Make an impact working as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a school-based contract position serving students in the Reading, PA area. You’ll be part of a collaborative educational team dedicated to helping each child reach their communication goals in an engaging learning environment.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current state licensure and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or eligibility
- Prior experience in a school-based setting is preferred, but strong clinical skills are welcome
- Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Strong organizational and communication skills to effectively collaborate with students, families, and staff
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students in individual and group settings
- Conduct assessments to determine students’ speech and language needs
- Develop, update, and track progress on IEP goals
- Consult and collaborate with teachers, families, and other team members to support student success
- Maintain thorough documentation in line with school and regulatory requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions as needed
- Deliver therapy services that promote social, academic, and personal growth
