Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Active license as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
  • Previous experience with school-aged children (K–12) preferred
  • Proficiency in assessing, diagnosing, and treating communication and language disorders
  • Ability to collaborate with teachers, staff, and families
  • Familiarity with IEP processes and progress documentation
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct evaluations and provide evidence-based therapy for students in grades K–5, 6–8, and 9–12
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and goals
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute recommendations for student success
  • Document student progress and maintain accurate records in accordance with school policies
  • Collaborate with educators to support classroom integration of communication strategies
  • Offer guidance and consultations to teachers, families, and other professionals
