We are seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join a supportive K–12 school district near Reading, Pennsylvania.
This school-based role serves students with a wide range of communication needs, including speech and language disorders and autism spectrum disorder.
This is a full-time position for the full school year, offering a consistent schedule and a collaborative educational environment. Supervision is provided, making this an excellent opportunity for both experienced SLPs and Clinical Fellows.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct speech-language evaluations and provide direct therapy services for K–12 students
- Support students with diverse needs, including autism and social communication challenges
- Develop, implement, and monitor IEP goals
- Collaborate with teachers, special education teams, and families
- Participate in IEP meetings and maintain required documentation
- Track student progress and adjust intervention strategies as needed
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Eligible for or holding Connecticut SLP licensure
- Clinical Fellows encouraged to apply (supervision provided)
- School-based or pediatric experience preferred but not required
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
