Desired Qualifications:
- Current Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) required
- Prior school-based or pediatric experience preferred
- Strong assessment, intervention, and documentation skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
- Willingness to adapt to various caseloads and school needs
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
- Provide direct therapy to elementary students, both individually and in groups
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and other professionals to support student success
- Maintain accurate records and progress notes in accordance with school and state requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings, contributing expertise and recommendations
- Offer consultative support to staff and families as needed
- Adapt to schedule adjustments or caseload changes based on student needs
