Step into an engaging contract opportunity supporting K-12 students in a vibrant educational setting for the 2026-2028 school years. This role serves approximately 35 students per Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP), with a focus on K-6, across several elementary, intermediate, middle, and high school assignments as well as out-of-district placements within York County. Your weekdays will follow the school calendar, 7:30 am to 3:30 pm, offering a consistent and family-friendly schedule.
We are seeking three skilled SLPs, ideally with a strong background in pediatric, school-based, and healthcare-focused speech therapy. The district embraces innovative practice, offering up to one day each week for Zoom-based hybrid therapy sessions. All necessary technology, including a laptop, is provided, and SLPs will utilize the district’s IEP system, Sapphire.
Qualifications & Experience
- PA Certified Speech-Language Pathologist required (must meet standards to bill Medical Assistance)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) eligibility
- Experience in school-based settings, pediatric caseloads, and teletherapy interventions
- Comfortable assessing, diagnosing, and developing interventions for diverse K-12 populations
- Proficient with educational IEP platforms; familiarity with Sapphire a plus
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a caseload of approximately 35 students, primarily K-6, across multiple school sites
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations, develop and implement IEPs, and maintain thorough documentation
- Participate in multidisciplinary teams and collaborate closely with educators, families, and other specialists
- Deliver both in-person and remote therapy sessions as needed
