This onsite assignment spans the full school year, providing consistent hours and the rewarding chance to witness your students’ progress firsthand. You'll engage daily with elementary-aged learners, applying your clinical and school-based knowledge. The district is transitioning all SLP services to onsite only, ensuring more direct engagement and stronger connections within the educational environment.
Qualifications & Preferred Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Valid state licensure (or eligibility) for school-based SLP practice
- Prior experience working with elementary school students preferred
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to collaborate with teachers, families, and other specialists
- Commitment to fostering a supportive, inclusive environment for all students
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for students
- Conduct group and individual therapy sessions onsite
- Document progress and communicate outcomes to educational teams and families
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary planning
- Offer consultative support and resources to teachers and staff
