Step into a rewarding opportunity as a Speech-Language Pathologist working with K-8 students for the upcoming academic year. This full-time, contract role begins July 21, 2026, and continues through May 21, 2027, offering the chance to make a significant impact in a school-based setting. You’ll work a consistent 40-hour week, utilizing your clinical skills to help students develop their communication abilities. As part of your support structure, you’ll collaborate with a dedicated SLPA to optimize student progress.
Ideal Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active state SLP licensure (or eligibility to obtain prior to start)
- CCC-SLP certification welcomed, but Clinical Fellow Year (CFY) candidates are encouraged to apply
- Previous experience in K-8 or school-based settings preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to partner with teachers, staff, and families
- Comfort with IEP development, case management, and progress documentation
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide assessment, diagnosis, and therapeutic intervention for a variety of speech and language disorders in students across grade levels K-8
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in accordance with IEP goals
- Monitor student progress and adjust therapy as needed
- Consult and collaborate closely with staff, families, and your supporting SLPA
- Maintain up-to-date and accurate documentation for all students served
- Participate in parent meetings, student staffing, and professional development as required
