Ready to make a positive impact in the lives of high school students? Exciting contract opportunity available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist near Red Rock, AZ. This full-time, full school year, itinerant role offers the chance to support students with a variety of needs across three high school sites. The majority of your caseload will be at Mountain View High School, with additional involvement at two smaller sites, for a total caseload of approximately 60-70 students. You will serve learners with mild to severe disabilities, including those with articulation disorders, Autism Spectrum Disorder, and students in adaptive cluster programs.
This position is open to Clinical Fellows, and consideration will be given to experienced SLPAs under appropriate supervision. You will collaborate closely with administration, teachers, and support staff to develop and implement IEPs, provide direct therapy, and track student progress.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; Clinical Fellows considered
- Active, standard certification in Speech-Language Pathology required
- Current IVP fingerprint clearance card required
- School-based experience highly desirable
- Comfortable managing a dynamic caseload and traveling between sites
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Deliver direct therapy to students with a range of abilities and diagnoses
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain thorough records and monitor student progress
- Provide consultative support and guidance to staff as needed
