A dynamic middle school setting is seeking a dedicated SLP with experience in school-based services to support students in grades 5-7. The position begins August 19, 2026, and runs through January 15, 2027 (estimated), offering full-time hours (40 hours/week) in a collaborative educational environment. You'll work alongside educators and support staff to deliver individualized and group speech therapy within a supportive middle school building.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Current or eligible Speech-Language Pathology license
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates encouraged to apply
  • Experience with pediatric and school-aged populations, especially grades 5–7, preferred
  • Solid understanding of IEP processes and school-based service delivery models
  • Strong organizational, documentation, and communication skills

Core Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments
  • Develop and implement individualized intervention plans
  • Deliver direct therapy services, both individual and group, for students in grades 5-7
  • Document progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in IEP meetings
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and interdisciplinary teams to support student outcomes
  • Educate and consult with staff and parents regarding communication strategies
  • Maintain compliance with school and state guidelines
