A skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) is needed to support elementary students in a dynamic school setting located in Redding, CA. This contract position offers flexible scheduling options, with full-time or part-time availability, starting either ASAP or for the 2025-2026 school year. The role focuses on delivering essential speech and language services to young learners, helping them develop effective communication skills in an educational environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive speech and language evaluations, therapy, and progress monitoring for elementary-aged students
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Maintain accurate documentation and caseload management in compliance with state and federal regulations
- Participate in team meetings, professional development, and parent conferences as needed
- Utilize evidence-based practices to support student communication goals and academic success
Qualifications:
- Current SLP certification with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Experience working as an SLP within an elementary school setting preferred
- Strong understanding of speech and language development in children
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with students, families, and staff
- Ability to manage a caseload efficiently and organize paperwork with attention to detail
