Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Valid SLP-CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) required
  • Current state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (or eligibility to obtain prior to start)
  • Experience working with elementary-age children strongly preferred
  • Familiarity with school-based therapy models and IEP processes
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in elementary students
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans aligned with students’ IEPs and goals
  • Deliver direct and consultative speech-language services within the school setting
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, support staff, and families to ensure holistic student progress
  • Document session notes, progress reports, and participate in IEP meetings as needed
  • Stay up-to-date with best practices and regulatory requirements for school-based SLPs
