The position is fully onsite, allowing you to build strong relationships and provide vital speech-language services within a collaborative team setting.

Desired Background & Experience:

  • Active Speech-Language Pathologist license for Michigan (SLP)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA required
  • Prior experience in a school setting, particularly in ASD classrooms, is highly valued
  • Exceptional communication, documentation, and organizational skills
  • Adaptable and compassionate with a genuine interest in fostering student development

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech-language assessments for students with ASD
  • Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
  • Deliver direct therapy—individually and in groups—to facilitate students’ growth in communication and related skills
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other specialists to integrate therapy goals into the classroom
  • Maintain accurate records and participate in IEP meetings, progress reporting, and interdisciplinary consultations
  • Employ evidence-based practices to meet diverse student needs
