Qualifications & Skills:

  • Current Speech-Language Pathology license (Michigan or eligibility to obtain)
  • SLP-CCC or candidate for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) considered
  • Experience working in school settings or with elementary-aged children
  • Familiarity with ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder) resources preferred
  • Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech and language therapy for elementary students in the ASD resource room
  • Manage a manageable caseload of approximately 12 students
  • Collaborate with educators, support staff, and families to develop and implement IEPs
  • Track student progress, maintain documentation, and participate in interdisciplinary meetings
  • Serve as an advocate and resource for communication needs in the classroom setting
