Key qualifications and experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active state Speech Language Pathology license (or eligibility to obtain)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status
- Previous experience in pediatric and/or school-based SLP settings preferred
- Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
- Enthusiasm for fostering growth and building relationships with students, staff, and families
Primary responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy to students with a range of communication disorders
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized education program (IEP) goals
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student outcomes
- Monitor and document student progress, preparing clear and timely reports
- Participate in IEP meetings, professional development, and ongoing program improvement
- Support inclusion and create engaging, effective therapy activities that motivate young learners
