Key qualifications and experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Active state Speech Language Pathology license (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status
  • Previous experience in pediatric and/or school-based SLP settings preferred
  • Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
  • Enthusiasm for fostering growth and building relationships with students, staff, and families

Primary responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech-language therapy to students with a range of communication disorders
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized education program (IEP) goals
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student outcomes
  • Monitor and document student progress, preparing clear and timely reports
  • Participate in IEP meetings, professional development, and ongoing program improvement
  • Support inclusion and create engaging, effective therapy activities that motivate young learners
