Apply NowStep into an impactful role supporting students’ communication development as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with a CCC certification. This rewarding contract opportunity spans the academic year, beginning August 13th and concluding June 5th, offering steady, full-time hours at a single school location. You’ll work with a diverse K-12 caseload (approximately 37–41 students), enabling you to collaborate closely with staff and make a tangible difference in students’ lives.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathology license and current CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence)
- Previous experience in a school setting preferred
- Familiarity with a variety of communication disorders and therapeutic interventions
- Ability to adapt communication and therapy to a broad age range (K-12)
- Strong organizational, documentation, and collaboration skills
- Comfortable working full-time, 37.5 hours per week, from August to early June
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver assessment, diagnosis, and intervention services for students with speech, language, and communication needs
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) alongside multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain detailed records of student progress, and communicate results to teachers and families
- Consult regularly with teachers, school personnel, and families to support each child’s goals
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute clinical expertise to educational planning
- Provide support and guidance to staff to foster a communicative classroom environment
