Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity supporting elementary and preschool students in a dynamic educational environment. Provide your skilled speech-language pathology services to help alleviate caseload overloads and ensure every child receives the care they deserve. This position offers hands-on experience across two elementary schools, collaborating closely with school teams and offering crucial assessment and intervention for students across a wide range of needs.

Highlights of this opportunity:

  • Start date: September 25, 2026, with assignment continuing until the district hires internally
  • Full-time, Monday through Friday, 8:00am–3:00pm schedule
  • Work exclusively on-site (no virtual/remote option)
  • Engage with students in both general education and preschool or moderate-to-moderate specialized settings
  • Each day offers a new setting, alternating between Braly ES and Briarwood ES
  • You will not be the primary SLP for a school, allowing you to focus on assessment and support for overload caseloads

Ideal candidates will possess:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • SLP-CCC certification
  • Previous experience supporting school-aged children, including preschool
  • Familiarity with both general and special education environments
  • Ability to flexibly adapt to new classrooms and collaborate with multiple teams
  • District SLP licensure preferred (not mandatory)
  • Strong communication, assessment, and organizational skills

Primary responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech and language assessments for students as assigned
  • Provide direct and consultative therapy to support existing SLPs
  • Document services and communicate findings with educational teams
  • Flexibly rotate between school locations, with one site served per day
