School Speech Language Pathologist - Redwood City, California

Step into a meaningful school-based opportunity supporting students’ communication and language development. This dynamic contract position provides Speech-Language Pathology services across two elementary schools, working closely with students in general education, preschool, and programs serving moderate to moderate-severe needs. Your expertise will be a valued addition, helping to manage larger caseloads and conducting essential assessments.

This role is designed to support existing speech therapy teams rather than serve as the primary SLP for any single campus. You will engage with a variety of learning environments, spending each day at either Braly Elementary (focusing on moderate to moderate-severe needs) or Briarwood Elementary (working with general education and preschool students). Flexibility is key, as you’ll rotate between sites throughout the week, ensuring each school benefits from your skills and insights.

Start Date: September 25, 2026
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00am – 3:00pm
Term: Ongoing contract until the district completes internal hiring

Desired Qualifications:

• Valid Speech-Language Pathology license preferred, but not required
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) or eligibility
• Prior experience providing speech therapy within a school setting
• Adaptability to serve different sites and manage changing caseloads
• Strong assessment, collaboration, and communication skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct speech-language services to support existing school SLP teams
• Conduct speech, language, and articulation assessments addressing workload overages
• Rotate between elementary campuses, supporting diverse student populations
• Foster collaboration among educators, staff, and families
• Maintain accurate records and documentation as required by the district
