In this role, you will earn between $55 and $70 an hour, with the chance to make a tangible impact every single day.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active California SLP license or eligibility for licensure
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, though Clinical Fellows are welcome
- Prior school-based or pediatric SLP experience highly valued
- Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
- Ability to work effectively with diverse student populations
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments for students referred to special services
- Develop individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to each child’s needs
- Deliver evidence-based speech and language therapy in one-on-one and group settings
- Collaborate with educators, staff, and families to support student progress
- Monitor, document, and report on student outcomes and improvements
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute expertise to the school community
