This assignment begins September 2, 2026, and concludes June 17, 2027, with two openings available. You’ll play a vital role as a Speech-Language Pathologist, collaborating with school teams to positively impact students’ learning and communication outcomes.
The position generally offers 37.5 hours per week, not exceeding 40 hours. Your schedule will start at 8:00 am, with end times varying slightly depending on school assignments, meetings, or student needs.
Qualifications & Background:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Valid state licensure (or eligibility) for Speech-Language Pathology
- Previous experience in school settings preferred, but strong new graduates are welcome to apply
- Ability to manage a caseload of approximately 50 students
- Strong communication, organizational, and consultative skills
- Dedication to fostering inclusive and supportive learning environments
Role Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders within a school-based environment
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s needs
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
- Participate in IEP meetings, student evaluations, and progress monitoring
- Document services and maintain compliance with district and legal requirements
- Adapt service plans based on student population and ages, honoring your preferences where possible
