Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active Washington SLP license (CCC or CFY status encouraged to apply)
- Expertise in pediatric and school-based SLP assessment, intervention, and progress monitoring
- Knowledge of IEP development, implementation, and documentation
- Experience collaborating with educators, families, and related service providers
- Commitment to ethical practice and evidence-based therapy methods
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- No SLPA supervision required
Primary Responsibilities:
- Serve a caseload of approximately 45 students in grades PK-5
- Deliver direct therapy sessions tailored to individual needs in group or one-on-one settings
- Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments
- Develop and update individualized education plans (IEPs), monitor progress, and manage records
- Attend and contribute to multi-disciplinary team and parent meetings
- Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and families to support student success
- Maintain compliance with district, state, and federal policies
This contract-to-hire role is set at 35 hours per week, spanning from September 1, 2026, to June 17, 2027, at a vibrant elementary school offering a rewarding, student-centered environment.
