Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
- Active Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Professional experience in pediatrics, especially K–4 educational environments
- Valid state licensure for speech-language pathology (or eligibility)
- Familiarity with a range of student needs, including essential skills and cross-categorical classrooms
- Prior supervisory experience with SLPAs is a plus
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech-language therapy, assessments, and interventions in a school-based setting
- Manage a caseload of approximately 35 students across grades K–4
- Support individualized education plan (IEP) development and implementation
- Supervise and mentor a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to promote student success
- Maintain documentation and monitor student progress
- Adapt services to meet diverse classroom types and individual needs
