Key Qualifications:

  • Active Speech-Language Pathologist license (SLP) with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
  • Experience working with preschool or early childhood populations
  • Knowledge of assessment, intervention, and progress monitoring strategies tailored for early learners
  • Familiarity with Ohio school guidelines and IEP processes
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate with families, teachers, and support staff
  • Ability to create engaging, individualized treatment plans for speech and language development

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for Pre-K students
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans to foster communication and language growth
  • Provide direct and indirect services through group and one-on-one settings at the Pickerington PK Program
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, including IEP development and reviews
  • Monitor student progress, document interventions, and adjust plans as needed
  • Communicate proactively with educators and families to ensure coordinated support

This contract position offers a consistent Monday through Friday schedule, totaling 37.5 hours per week, with the chance to work on-site in a welcoming early childhood environment.
