You will play a key role in helping children develop essential communication skills, ensuring every child receives the attention they deserve. The assignment begins August 24th and runs throughout the school year, providing stability and the opportunity to watch your students grow and succeed.

What we’re looking for:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Valid state SLP license or eligibility to obtain
  • Relevant ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates welcome
  • Prior experience in a school setting, especially with elementary populations, is highly valued
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills for working with students, teachers, and families
  • Ability to manage a caseload of approximately 50 students efficiently and compassionately

What you’ll do:

  • Provide direct speech and language therapy services to elementary school students
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Complete thorough evaluations and maintain documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations
  • Collaborate with classroom teachers, special education staff, and families for comprehensive student support
  • Offer guidance, resources, and progress updates to parents and caregivers
  • Participate in IEP meetings and professional development as needed

Work schedule will be weekdays from 8:00 AM to 3:45 PM, allowing for work-life balance and personal time after school hours.
