Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as a Speech-Language Pathologist, serving students in grades K-5 at an elementary school. Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required.
- Valid North Carolina SLP license or eligibility upon hire.
- SLP-CCC or CFY candidates encouraged to apply.
- Prior experience working in school or pediatric settings highly preferred.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Compassion for working with diverse student populations.
Responsibilities:
- Manage a caseload of approximately 45 elementary-aged students.
- Assess, diagnose, and treat communication disorders and language delays.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with educators and families.
- Provide direct therapy services both individually and in group settings.
- Maintain detailed and timely documentation on student progress, interventions, and outcomes.
- Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and staff meetings as needed.
- Foster positive, inclusive relationships within the school community.
