Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required.
  • Valid North Carolina SLP license or eligibility upon hire.
  • SLP-CCC or CFY candidates encouraged to apply.
  • Prior experience working in school or pediatric settings highly preferred.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Compassion for working with diverse student populations.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage a caseload of approximately 45 elementary-aged students.
  • Assess, diagnose, and treat communication disorders and language delays.
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with educators and families.
  • Provide direct therapy services both individually and in group settings.
  • Maintain detailed and timely documentation on student progress, interventions, and outcomes.
  • Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and staff meetings as needed.
  • Foster positive, inclusive relationships within the school community.
