Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid SLP license in North Carolina (or eligibility to obtain)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or CFY candidates considered
- Experience with school-based or pediatric caseloads preferred
- Familiarity with IEP development, implementation, and progress tracking
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Organized, adaptable, and eager to collaborate within a multidisciplinary team
Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and provide therapy for students with speech, language, voice, or fluency disorders across grade levels
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in accordance with IEP goals
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting interventions as needed
- Work closely with teachers, parents, and educational staff to foster student success
- Participate in IEP meetings, student evaluations, and team consultations
- Maintain accurate and timely records in compliance with school district and state guidelines
