Qualifications:

  • Current licensure and certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Experience working with students at the elementary, middle, and high school levels
  • Strong understanding of IEP processes and school-based therapy protocols
  • Ability to develop individualized treatment plans and set measurable goals
  • Excellent communication skills for collaboration with teachers, staff, and families
  • Knowledge of speech, language, and communication disorders affecting school-aged children

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and assess students to identify speech and language challenges
  • Design and implement individualized therapy programs tailored to each student’s needs
  • Document and track progress toward therapy goals and maintain accurate records
  • Consult with educators and parents to support student success within the classroom
  • Attend IEP meetings and contribute expertise to multidisciplinary teams
  • Provide direct and indirect services in group and one-on-one settings
  • Adapt therapy approaches to suit varied grade levels and learning styles
