Apply NowA full-time or part-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available to support K-12 students in a dynamic educational setting in Richmond, CA. This contract position offers the chance to work within a school environment providing teletherapy and in-person services to pediatric students, enhancing their communication skills and overall academic success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify speech and language disorders in students.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's needs.
- Deliver therapy services both in-person and via teletherapy platforms.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress.
- Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with school and state regulations.
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal setting and progress reporting.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP - CCC).
- Eligible or licensed to work in school settings (SLP - School).
- Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (SLP - CFY) is preferred.
- Experience providing teletherapy services (SLP - Teletherapy).
- Background working with pediatric populations (SLP - Pediatrics).
- Familiarity with healthcare-related speech therapy practices is a plus (SLP - Healthcare).
Location: Richmond, California
Contract Duration: Complete School Year (CSY)
