Qualifications & Experience:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
  • Valid licensure to practice as an SLP in California
  • Previous experience working in a school setting preferred
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to maintain detailed case records
  • Dedication to reliability and professionalism
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities with students, staff, and families

Responsibilities:

  • Provide in-person speech and language therapy to students with a variety of needs
  • Conduct assessments, develop individualized education program (IEP) goals, and monitor progress
  • Manage caseload effectively, delivering both direct and consultative services
  • Maintain accurate documentation and case records in accordance with legal and district requirements
  • Attend IEP meetings and contribute evaluation data, progress reports, and recommendations
  • Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to support student growth and achievement
  • Ensure seamless service continuity as you transition into a previously filled SLP position
