Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
  • Current state licensure (or eligibility) for SLP practice
  • Previous school-based experience strongly preferred
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, student-centered approach
  • Strong organizational abilities and a commitment to evidence-based practice

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments for students K-12
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Deliver direct therapy services, both individual and group, according to student needs
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
  • Maintain detailed documentation, progress reports, and data on student outcomes
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute professional insights in team discussions
  • Engage in ongoing professional development and remain current with best practices
