Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Current state licensure (or eligibility) for SLP practice
- Previous school-based experience strongly preferred
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, student-centered approach
- Strong organizational abilities and a commitment to evidence-based practice
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments for students K-12
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Deliver direct therapy services, both individual and group, according to student needs
- Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
- Maintain detailed documentation, progress reports, and data on student outcomes
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute professional insights in team discussions
- Engage in ongoing professional development and remain current with best practices
