Step into an exciting opportunity to support students as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP, SLP-CCC) for two full-time contract roles covering maternity leave. Position 1 runs from August through the end of September, providing essential services at the start of the school year. Position 2 extends from August through the end of December, offering a longer stretch for hands-on involvement with students and staff. Both roles ensure stability for the school community while their SLPs are on leave.

Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current SLP license for California and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
  • School-based experience preferred; strong new graduates with relevant internships will be considered
  • Excellent communication, organization, and time-management skills
  • Proven ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
  • Dedication to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment

Core Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and create individualized treatment plans for students with speech and language disorders
  • Provide direct therapy services in individual and group settings
  • Maintain detailed and timely documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations
  • Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to maximize student progress
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to interdisciplinary teams as needed
  • Promote effective communication and social skills among students
