This full-time, contract opportunity is situated in a vibrant community near Richmond, CA, with assignments also in San Rafael. You'll work within a collaborative educational setting, helping students realize their communication potential and thrive academically and socially.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Active state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) required
  • Prior experience in school-based settings, ideally with early intervention and/or middle school populations
  • Ability to craft and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments
  • Develop targeted intervention plans tailored to both individual and group needs
  • Collaborate closely with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to maximize student success
  • Maintain accurate case notes, documentation, and progress reports in accordance with school and legal standards
  • Support students with a variety of communication difficulties, adapting methods to promote engagement and development across age groups
  • Attend IEP meetings and provide expert recommendations for ongoing programming
