Key Qualifications:

  • Active Georgia Speech-Language Pathology license
  • GaPSC (Georgia Professional Standards Commission) Teaching Certificate required
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
  • Previous experience in a school setting is advantageous
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Comfortable delivering onsite services and working as part of an interdisciplinary team

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive speech and language therapy to students in compliance with IEPs and educational goals
  • Conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and monitor progress
  • Collaborate effectively with teachers, school staff, and families
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team discussions
  • Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of services and student progress
  • Foster a supportive, inclusive environment that promotes student success

Additional Details:

  • Full-time schedule: 37.5 hours per week
  • Onsite services only; remote/virtual options not available
  • Contract expected through May 2027, providing long-term continuity and relationship-building with students and staff
