Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Richmond, TX

Step into an impactful role supporting middle and high school students as a Speech-Language Pathologist within a vibrant Houston area school community. This full-time contract runs from August 11, 2026, through May 26, 2027, offering the chance to work closely with a middle or high school-aged caseload of 50–60 students, depending on candidate preference. SLPs open to working on-site will find opportunities to deliver direct therapy, manage ARDs, perform evaluations, and collaborate with educational teams. If your passion leans toward supervision, roles focused on oversight are available as well.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Active Speech-Language Pathology licensure for Texas and Florida (please include an image of your license)
• Openness to serving either middle (grades 6–8) or high school (grades 10–12) populations
• Willingness to support students with diverse speech and language needs
• Familiarity with ARD (Admission, Review, and Dismissal) processes and experience conducting evaluations is highly valued
• Open to Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) applicants
• Flexibility regarding campus assignment with consideration given to your ZIP code
• Ability to complete required credentialing, including district fingerprinting (previous prints may transfer)
• Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative spirit

Role Responsibilities:

• Deliver speech and language therapy in an educational setting
• Conduct screenings, evaluations, and develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Participate actively in ARD committee meetings
• Maintain accurate records and document student progress
• Communicate professionally with families, staff, and administrators
• Option to focus on supervision of other SLPs or SLPA personnel, if preferred
