School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Richmond, Texas

Step into an impactful speech-language pathology role supporting young students in a school-based setting near Richmond, TX. This contract opportunity requires onsite, full-time engagement and will allow you to contribute significantly to the academic and social progress of children at the elementary level, including those in Early Childhood and potentially self-contained classrooms. Working through the academic year until June 2027, you will be part of an environment focused on providing nurturing and effective speech and language support.

Required Qualifications:

• Current State Licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
• Previous hands-on experience in a school setting—elementary and Early Childhood exposure is highly preferred
• Comfortable working on site; teletherapy (VOCO) is not an option for this role
• Experience supporting students in self-contained classrooms is a plus
• Strong communication skills, collaborative spirit, and dedication to student success

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough speech, language, and communication assessments tailored to student needs
• Develop and implement dynamic IEPs and therapy plans for elementary and early childhood students
• Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and parents to monitor and document student progress
• Adapt therapy methods to accommodate different learning abilities and environments
• Provide support and education to staff and families regarding speech-language development and intervention strategies
