Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current Speech-Language Pathologist license in Texas
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
- Experience working in schools essential
- Flexibility to work onsite across multiple locations
- Experience in self-contained classroom settings preferred
- Early childhood center experience highly valued
- No requirements for an educator credential
- Must be able to work exclusively on-site (no teleservices)
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and indirect speech-language therapy services to assigned caseload
- Evaluate, develop, and implement individualized therapy plans to address student needs
- Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and families to support educational outcomes
- Conduct thorough assessments and manage required documentation for IEPs
- Rotate between assigned campuses (elementary or secondary) as needed
- Participate in school meetings, parent conferences, and interdisciplinary team discussions
- Flex your skills in diverse settings, adapting to both general education and specialized (self-contained) classrooms
