School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Richmond, Texas

Located near the vibrant Richmond, TX area, this opportunity will have you primarily stationed at a central office while providing services across 2-3 schools on the west and northwest side of the district. This district embraces a workload-focused approach, enabling quality time and attention for every student’s unique communication needs.

Key Qualifications:

• Current certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC)
• Valid SLP licensure for the state
• School-based SLP experience preferred
• Ability to supervise a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Adaptable to working in both in-person and hybrid models

Your Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive speech-language therapy for elementary and middle school students
• Serve students at multiple locations while based out of the central office
• Supervise one SLPA, offering guidance and support
• Utilize the district’s workload model to maximize student outcomes
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement IEPs
• Maintain accurate records and documentation as required by the district
