A school-based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed to support middle school students during a full semester contract in Richmond, VA.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid SLP certification or license
- Experience working with middle school-aged children
- Knowledge of speech and language development and disorders
- Ability to design and implement individualized therapy plans
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with students, teachers, and families
Location: Richmond, Virginia, Middle School Setting
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to identify speech and language issues
- Develop and implement individualized therapy goals and treatment plans
- Provide direct speech-language therapy services to students
- Monitor and document student progress
- Collaborate with educational staff to support integrated learning
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress
