A Full-Time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) is needed to support K-12 students in a dynamic educational setting in Richmond, VA. This contract position for the new school year offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by working primarily with 1-2 elementary students while also supporting a diverse student population.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students from kindergarten through 12th grade
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to the unique needs of elementary and K-12 students
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support student communication goals
  • Maintain detailed documentation and progress reports in compliance with school policies and IDEA guidelines
  • Participate in team meetings, IEP development, and professional development opportunities

Qualifications:

  • Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)
  • Experience working with K-12 students in a school setting, preferably focusing on elementary age groups
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to effectively engage with educators and families
  • Ability to manage a caseload efficiently and maintain accurate records
  • Commitment to fostering a positive and supportive learning environment
