Qualifications and Experience:
• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP
• Previous experience in a school-based setting preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to design and implement individualized education program (IEP) goals
• Comfortable working both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Responsibilities:
• Conduct evaluations and assessments of students referred for speech and language services
• Develop individualized treatment plans and provide direct therapy to students
• Document progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with school and state guidelines
• Participate in IEP team meetings and collaborate with teachers, support staff, and parents
• Provide consultation and education to classroom staff regarding strategies and accommodations
• Stay current on best practices and emerging trends in speech-language pathology for school-aged children
