Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Previous experience in a school setting preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to provide effective supervision and mentorship to an SLPA
- Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with educators and families
- Deliver direct therapy and consultative services to students as outlined in their IEPs
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports
- Oversee and provide guidance to an SLPA, ensuring high-quality service delivery
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to foster a supportive learning environment
