Qualifications & Expertise:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state SLP license (or eligibility to obtain)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred; strong CFY candidates also considered
- Previous experience in K-12 school settings is highly valued
- Ability to conduct assessments, implement individualized treatment plans, and provide evidence-based therapy
- Effective communication skills for working with students, staff, and families
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess students’ speech, language, and communication abilities within the school setting
- Develop and deliver individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs
- Provide direct therapy and consultative support, both individually and in group settings
- Collaborate with teachers, special educators, and multidisciplinary teams to support student learning
- Maintain accurate documentation, progress notes, and compliance records as required
- Attend IEP meetings and contribute to a positive educational experience for students
