Qualifications and Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
  • Current state SLP licensure (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, CFY candidates welcome
  • Experience working in school-based settings is highly desired
  • Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
  • Ability to effectively manage a diverse caseload of students with varying needs
  • Familiarity with IEP procedures and special education laws

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech and language assessments to determine student needs
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans
  • Deliver therapy sessions (individual and/or group) according to student IEPs
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
  • Maintain accurate records and progress reports, ensuring compliance with school, state, and federal guidelines
  • Participate in IEP meetings and help shape educational plans
  • Offer guidance and support in classroom language strategies and modifications
