Desired Skills & Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Current state licensure (or eligibility) for Virginia as an SLP
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
• Experience in school-based settings or relevant clinical placements
• Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
• Ability to tailor interventions for a wide range of student needs and backgrounds

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry a mixed caseload of K-12 students, addressing articulation, language, fluency, and social communication needs
• Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Deliver evidence-based therapy sessions both individually and in groups
• Collaborate closely with teachers, staff, and families to maximize student success
• Maintain accurate case records and monitor student progress
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams
