Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or equivalent
- Active state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, but strong Clinical Fellows are encouraged to apply
- Prior experience in a school or pediatric setting is strongly desired
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders for students
- Develop and implement individualized education program (IEP) goals in collaboration with educators and families
- Conduct screenings and evaluations to identify students requiring intervention
- Maintain thorough documentation of student progress and compliance with district and state guidelines
- Collaborate closely with teachers, counselors, and administrators to optimize student outcomes
- Participate in IEP and parent meetings, providing expertise and advocacy for students’ needs
