Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure or eligibility to obtain
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or completing the Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Previous experience in a schools-based setting is preferred
- Commitment to fostering a nurturing and inclusive learning environment
Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations and assessments to identify students’ speech, language, and communication needs
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with educators and families
- Provide direct therapy services in individual and group settings
- Maintain detailed documentation on student progress and services rendered
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and administrators to support student outcomes
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team discussions
- Utilize evidence-based practices and stay current with developments in the field
