Qualifications:

  • Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license in Connecticut
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
  • Recent experience in a school-based setting preferred
  • Effective communicator and team collaborator
  • Ability to adapt to diverse student populations and needs

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct speech-language therapy to students from September 1 through mid-November (maternity leave coverage, full-time schedule)
  • Develop and implement individualized education program (IEP) goals
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student progress
  • Complete required documentation and maintain accurate records
  • Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and professional development as needed
